As a Analog Engineer in Intel Foundry, you:

  • Design, develop, and build analog circuits in advanced process nodes for analog and mixedsignal IPs.
  • Design floorplans, perform circuit design, extract chip parameters, and simulate analog behavior models.
  • Create test plans to verify design according to circuit and block microarchitecture specifications and evaluates test results.
  • Verify functionality to optimize circuit for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to report design progress and collects, tracks, and resolves any performance and circuit design issues.
  • Optimize performance, power, area, and reduces leakage of circuits. Works with architecture and layout team to design circuit for best functionality, robustness, and electrical capabilities.

Qualifications:

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with 4+ years' experience OR a Masters degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering with 2+ years of experience or related technical field .
  • 3+ years' experience Cadence schematic and layout tool suit and Spice/FastSpice/AMS simulation tools.
  • 3+ years' experience with circuit design, layout, circuit reliability tools/methodologies.
  • 3+ years' experience with design model building and validation methodologies.
  • 3+ years' experienced working in UNIX environment.
  • 3+ years' experience with scripting language like Perl, TCL, Python, etc.

How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Masters degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field and 4+ years.
  • Experience with high speed data converters design.
  • Experience with PLL design.
  • Experience with complex analog I/O circuits.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$123,419.00-$185,123.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
