Join us as a Program Manager for the Voice of Client Team

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Program Manager to join our Voice of Client (VOC) Team in Relationship Excellence Shared Services.

The Voice of Client team manages and supports a range of initiatives, all of which lead to BBH’s better understanding of external market demand and preferences. The Voice of Client approach focuses on disciplined outreach and review to drive data-driven investment and business decisions, as well as ongoing incorporation of new tools and protocols to optimize external information gathering. The successful candidate will drive strategy, decision making and execution within the Voice of Client framework, and with a specific focus on transforming information and data into insights and trends that support Investor Service’s retain and grow agenda.

Some of your key responsibilities include: 

Disciplined External Engagement

  • Partnering with internal teams and external constituents, manage disciplined market outreaches, including product feedback loops, surveys and other external information gathering exercises
  • Prepare market engagement materials and analysis of feedback collected to inform investment and prioritization
  • Track, measure and ensure progress on market engagement initiatives through regular follow up
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement across departments to organize and help drive execution on initiatives that may cut across multiple product and business areas
  • Craft engaging thought leadership in the form of newsletters, videos, webinars, in person events, and any other effective method or media

Analysis and Tool Development

  • Derive relevant insights from the ongoing review of internal and external information sources and databases, including unstructured and structured data; deliver findings in the manner(s) most effective for internal and external consumption, including offering recommended solutions to business challenges; synthesize and publish insights and trends directly relevant to and impactful for our market engagement agenda
  • Gather feedback from the industry, actively track and communicate client and market intelligence back to appropriate BBH resources and colleagues; bring insights back to BBH that inform our market engagement and investment roadmap strategies
  • Contribute to Voice of Client tool initiatives, to include evaluation of enhanced or new technologies (e.g., data visualization, AI) and protocols (e.g., Journey Mapping) in support of the VOC program

Internal Coordination (as needed)

  • Organize agenda and minutes for senior committee meetings
  • Track and help ensure follow up items are executed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required
  • 8 -10 years experience with strong understanding of financial services, including Asset Servicing, Asset Management and Financial Institutions Market preferred
  • Experience in Design Thinking methodology and its practical application in a business setting
  • Client-focused perspective, where everyone we work with outside and within BBH is our client
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and apply new concepts and technologies – versatility is a plus
  • Demonstrated planning, organization, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to communicate and present effectively, both in person and in writing, all levels of management
  • Experience prioritizing and executing tasks in a dynamic, at times high pressure environment with a high dependency on teamwork and adaptability
  • Demonstrated leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict management, to drive new and sometimes experimental initiatives
  • Experience with data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau and Qlik preferred, but not required
  • Strong data collection and analytical experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite experience
