Summary of Internship

Internship positions provide an opportunity for business, engineering and science students to get hands on experience in a marketing and sales environment.

In this role, you will act as a Marketing and Communication (MarCom) Specialist. This role is to deliver regionally relevant inspiring marketing campaigns that create customer value, revenue and growth.

You will be part of the EU MarCom team who shapes and delivers the prioritised marketing campaigns, whilst improving on campaign effectiveness and Return On Investment (value). This is achieved through planning, building, and implementing integrated customer journeys, crafting the right message and selecting the right channel mix.

Reports to Regional Snr Manager Marketing and Communication IDD (EU)

Internship opportunities may include:

  • Digital Marketing
  • Downstream Marketing
  • Event management

Crucial Functions:

  • Effective project management adhering to established timelines.
  • Implementation of the European marketing campaigns
  • Management of the on-line and off-line projects
  • Execution of the digital tactics : emailing, Search marketing (SEM/SEO), Social Media
  • Compliance with brand guidelines/standards, legal/regulatory guidelines
  • Collaboration with external suppliers, agencies, publishers
  • Report out on marketing projects
  • Optimise marketing tactics using data in order to deliver on targets

Qualifications:

  • Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Master’s degree in business management, marketing or life science field
  • Preferred majors: Business Management, Business Marketing, Life science, Biotechnology or other related studies
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Marketing
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve
  • Outstanding customer focus
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills are required
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
