IDEXX Water conceptualizes, develops, manufactures, and sells fast, easy, and accurate water microbiology tests. As a Regional Marketing Associate, responsible for North America, you will be part of the Global Marketing Organization for the IDEXX Water business. 

This is a hybrid role, with two days per week on-site at IDEXX’s Horizon Center in Scarborough, Maine.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and implementing marketing plans through a variety of marketing channels
  • Screening and qualifying new business leads for the sales organization. 
  • Develop and execute marketing plans in dedicated marketing channels such as paid search, email and direct mail, trade publications / industry associations, and social media.
  • Screen and qualify sales leads for water products by researching lab databases, verifying contact information, and identifying new business opportunities. This work may include making phone calls to prospective accounts.
  • Build, manage, and document a leads pipeline through Salesforce.com; maintain Salesforce data with accurate profiles, notes, and opportunity information.
  • Execute tactical marketing programs/projects through cross-functional leadership.
  • Track, administer, and analyze selected marketing programs and metrics.
  • Assist in the promotion of regional tradeshows.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing campaigns, with a focus on digital media.
  • Proven ability to work in and lead with influence project teams that are highly matrixed, cross-functional, and technical.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, and display advertising)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate and resolve issues.
  • Ability to prioritize, maintain focus, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated initiative and drive with ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • MS office applications–with advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database software preferred.
