JOB DESCRIPTION: National Account Manager (NAM)

Location: Hybrid – Rosemont, IL - OR remote

Overview: As a National Account Manager supporting the brands of ZeroWater, Culligan and ProOne; this person will be a key player in driving the growth and success of our business by managing Grocery, Drug, Military, Sporting Goods/Outdoor channels within the U.S. region. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the consumer products industry. The National Account Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies, and will play a crucial role in achieving revenue targets and market share goals.

Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at national retail accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.

Sales Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for national accounts.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Implement pricing, promotion, and product placement strategies to optimize sales and market share.

Negotiation:

  • Lead negotiations with national accounts to secure favorable terms, agreements, and promotional opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and resolve any issues that may arise during the course of business.

Forecasting and Analysis:

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and contribute to demand planning processes.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to introduce new products or variations based on customer feedback and market demands.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager in the consumer products industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel nationally as needed.
