This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites up to four days per week and work remotely the remaining day(s). A member of our Talent Acquisition team will provide more details.

JOB SUMMARY:

With your deep expertise as well as analytical thinking and iterative problem solving, you are an experienced trusted advisor who can set strategy and execute. You can comfortably manage a portfolio of complex programs and processes; contribute to leadership discussions on strategy, budget, and talent; and make sound decisions that drive successful outcomes for the company. EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive infrastructure and data center delivery experience with direct management of complex budgets and direct management of cross-functional teams
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Cloud Formation and Terraform
  • Extensive experience in technical engineering, architecture, and/or development roles
  • Extensive experience working in a large IT environment in support of IT service and business processes, with proven track record of driving large-scale changes.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams delivering full stack platform support across data centers and private and public cloud.
  • Containerization and orchestration, Microservices architecture,
  • Strong experience in consulting, financial services industry, or government regulatory agency
  • Supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities required.
  • Highly skilled expertise in designing and running a wide range of open-source tools and distribution engines.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure automation, instrumentation and full stack technologies
  • Proven experience building and managing teams of 30-100 members.
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps techniques and strategies for both application and infrastructure builds and releases.
  • Expertise in cloud engineering and operations, Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • In-depth knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Thought-leader level knowledge in leading large-scale initiatives emphasizing the strategy, design, and development of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud platforms that extend to private and public cloud deployment models with resiliency, risk and control governance and metrics, incident management, secure systems development lifecycle, vulnerability management, and data protection.
  • Expert experience with cloud management platforms, virtualization strategies, automation and orchestration strategies, public cloud platforms, cloud capacity/performance optimization, and application migrations to a cloud platform with a clear understanding of how an IT organization capitalizes upon technology to enable the business.
  • Experience leading transformational projects related to IT architecture, engineering, operations, security, and digital adoption.
  • Experience leading client-facing business development at a C-suite level, engagement delivery, practice development, and thought leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop and maintain cloud computing infrastructure and platforms by following established processes and procedures.
  • Design and optimize product testing and deployment procedures.
  • Set up, configure and maintain organizational networks and system infrastructure; generate system improvements based on business needs.
  • Design recommendations to solve applications/data integration problems.
  • Manage each phase of electronic data exchange to ensure its efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop security related policies and guidelines; applying and monitoring the implementation of a security infrastructure.
  • Participate in all phases of the cloud integration engineering life cycle; troubleshoot technical problems as they arise.
  • Document, analyze and merge all tasks and resources that are needed to execute an integration project.
  • Deploy virtual systems and network resources according to specifications based on established guidelines.
  • Provide technical training for end users on new integration models.
  • Deliver training documents on new system/software installations and configurations for junior staff and clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and stability issues on product infrastructure or the data center.
  • Implement major infrastructure management platforms (e.g., BMC, HP, CA, VMWare), automation, and orchestration (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and public cloud vendors (e.g., AWS, Rackspace, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Office 365)
  • Apply DevOps strategies, designs, implementations, and tools/capabilities/functionalities.
  • Serve as a team leader by enabling teams to generate a vision, establish direction, create an atmosphere of trust, and leverage diverse views, while working collaboratively as a member of a team and executing independently.

EDUCATION

  • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
  • Degree in engineering, computer science, engineering, or technology related fields
  • Masters degree preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS Preferred:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Certified OpenStack Administrator, Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect - Certifications

The typical base pay range for this role is between $165K - $205K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
