The Basics

As Director of Product Management at Tanium, you will be responsible for the development and business success of Tanium products (modules) that are part of Tanium's security and IT operations portfolio. In this role, you will work with engineering, product, sales and marketing, technical account managers, and customers to ensure alignment of our overall product vision, product development, and ultimately, our go-to-market strategies, keeping in mind customer needs, satisfaction, and adoption.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of the strategy, growth, and success of Tanium products
  • Identify and cultivate strategic customer relationships to obtain feedback on existing products, identify opportunities, and establish requirements for emerging products
  • Assist in the development of sales and technical enablement materials
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to establish the go-to market strategy for your products, target prospective customers, and exploit competitive differentiators for your products
  • Support product marketing initiatives, partner relationships, and other opportunities to accelerate the adoption your products and to build Tanium’s brand
  • Define strategic direction for your products and work with stakeholders, both internal and external, to achieve buy-in for your vision and their role in executing on it
  • Collaborate with the product management team to identify new products that align with Tanium’s technology, strategic direction, and business imperatives

We’re looking for someone with

  • Education
  • BA required
  • MA preferred
  • Experience
  • 5+ years Enterprise Software experience
  • Technology background, preferably with security or systems management products
  • Demonstrated success in working with engineering teams to plan, develop and launch successful software products
  • Other

  • Do-what-it-takes approach; willingness to get your hands dirty

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $390,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of medical, dental and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, disability insurance, and other well-being benefits.
