Alliances/Channel Account Manager

In This Role, You Will 

  • Define a Strategic Partner go-to-market partner strategy for the A10 portfolio with our reselling partners, strategic technology partners, and implementation partners 
  • Ensure a formalized relationship mapping strategy is in place with broad coverage to drive deeper executive relationships across key partners, and to ensure deeper, more fruitful sponsorships
  • Develop, implement, and institutionalize the overall partner strategy for the field and company in the geography 
  • Collaborate with field sales teams to create and build partnerships that add value to our current and prospective customers, identify incremental opportunities, and assist in current sales pursuits 
  • Develop business plans with each partner and ensure their successful execution 
  • Create and drive specific channel programs, including assisting with program definitions, oversight, pricing, and channel resources 
  • Work cross-functionally to develop channel marketing programs, partner product certifications, and training and partner enablement, and appropriate collateral 
  • Have an opportunity to lead and coach Channel & Alliance Partner teams including resource management, mentorship, and overall performance management 
  • Oversee the strategy and operations alignment within our named partnership 
  • Collaborate with the geography team of highly talented A10 Channel & Alliance managers 
  • Ensure alignment and coordination with A10 sales execution, product, and marketing team 
  • Monitor and track progress across all these cross functional dimensions
  • Act as a trusted and credible partner to C-level counterparts in partner organizations 
  • Proven track record of success in driving GTM sales and revenue, within a complex, multi-tiered partner ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of the public cloud providers market motions with partners 
  • Ability to independently navigate complex external organizations to find the necessary people and resources to deliver impact and strategic alignment 
  • Proficient writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills 
  • The ability to lead with influence 

Ideal Profile

  • A bachelor's degree; MBA or Advanced Degree preferred 
  • 10+ years' prior partnerships and alliances leadership experience in the Enterprise 
  • A proven track record of driving partner revenue and growth with key Business partners through an enterprise sales force. This will include experience in market development fund investment providing significant return on investment. 
  • Experience in the private, public cloud, infrastructure and data space strongly preferred 
  • Extensive experience devising and measuring the effectiveness of partner programs 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities, seamlessly moving between strategy & tactical execution 
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment 
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience influencing change across a matrix organization 
  • This individual must demonstrate an ability to get things done, build consensus, resolve conflict, and solve tough business problems, working in concert with others 
  • Strong capabilities in building and executing channel strategies by segment, creating and presenting sales plans, setting milestones, measuring performance, and being accountable for results to executive management. 
  • Strong leadership, influencing skills and an unrelenting desire to win
