Firmwide Executive Talent Development - Vice President

As the Executive Talent Management Vice President, supported by the manager, you will work with Talent Partners in their aligned client groups to strategize, implement and execute organizational development solutions aimed at Talent Management; Performance Development; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI); change management; career development; and team/leader effectiveness. Your responsibilities may also include management of select organizational development initiatives/projects and processes (e.g., talent reviews, data analysis, executive program nominations and tracking).

This role provides an opportunity to get involved in a variety of experiences for someone driven to strategize, execute, learn and grow in a fast-paced small team environment.

The ideal candidates MUST be able to thrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment and have an analytical mindset.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Leads and colleagues across all lines of business on firmwide Talent initiatives including but not limited to Talent Review System and Tools, Manager Guides, and data analytics for annual senior leadership strategy session 
  • Analyze, interpret, and tell a story with talent data to help inform talent strategies and decisions
  • Lead the development and enhancements of talent tools and training materials working closely with Digital Solutions and Workforce Data Analytics team on the HCM Talent module & Business Objects (reporting, maintenance, enhancements, issues, new releases, etc.) 
  • Collaborate with ETM stakeholders including Talent Advisory, DEI, HR Regulatory, Talent Acquisition to deliver cross-functional processes and initiatives
  • Develop materials for various senior stakeholder discussions/meetings (including Operating Committee, HR Offsites, Board Meetings, QPRs) with Talent topics related to Talent 
  • Document and maintain project plans and process materials for various ETM initiatives
  • Manage nomination process for talent programs and various talent pools including identification of talent, communications and tracking of results

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • B.A/B.S degree in related field or equivalent with minimum of 6+ years of Talent development or Human Resources Business Advisory experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Self-starter, with exceptional attention to detail and organization skills, able to problem solve and connect the dots across multiple initiatives quickly
  • Works well under pressure and with time sensitive projects while delivering results accurately, quickly, and efficiently with the ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels — both written and verbal 
  • Strong ability to execute independently in a dynamic global environment across multiple priorities, complex initiatives and pivot as needed managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Proficient data analysis skills (quantitative and qualitative), ability to identify themes/trends and to summarize large amounts of data into a compelling story and tailor message to audience
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel (including formulas, pivot tables and data analytics) and Word – ability to build senior level presentations and materials
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, actively participating to foster a positive and inclusive work environment

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Financial services industry experience
  • Prior experience in Talent Management and Project Management
  • Comfort with matrix management structure
