The Role

As “Customer Service & Import Specialist” you will be responsible for all the export operations for CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States) and Middle East and Africa Markets. You will be the point of connection between PVH and the export markets providing all the required information and supporting through the knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and customs procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work on the seasonal orderbook to obtain all the information regarding product group / style code / material composition.
  • Translation into Russian all the information to share with the broker and wait for comments by returns.
  • Check if necessary to double-check if all the documents are correct and if there are not any existing documents or assigned the correct HS-code.
  • Fulfill the application form for different countries (in Russian for CIS) adding all the info of producers and all the details (type of garments/fabrics and all classifications). The details must be divided according to the customs union rules, technical regulations (TR TC 007, 017, etc.) requirements.
  • Be the owner of the upload of export documentation and invoices for Egyptian and African customers.
  • Provide samples and follow up with testing.
  • Check the returned vendor’s final draft of the document (from Kazakhstan). The documents will be published in official web of the EAEU commission, so all the information must be checked carefully and returned to the vendor in case of missing or wrong information.
  • The final documents must be recorded and the orderbook must be updated with permissive documents.
  • Prepare a power of attorney for customers for using new certificates. Then send it to the Vendor for a sign and stamp.
  • Have direct contact with the CIS partners, Customer Service, warehouse, credit control department, sales and commercial teams providing final documentation on time for shipping and be ready to answer questions, help when needed, explain the legislation rules and reasons of using the indicated certificate and any other businesses.
  • Get the invoices from vendors/brokers, check number of conformity document, quantity of test reports in each document, quantity of additional lists, sums.
  • Follow up with accounting and finance and be the point of contact for all the payments supporting partner requests for additional information, queries, claims etc.
  • Work on seasonal budgets

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You'll have a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar positions
  • You have a university degree in in a computer science or technology
  • You are experienced in import and certification process of Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and other customs union countries.
  • You have experience of data entry and use of computerized sales order processing systems (SAP knowledge is an advantage).
  • You are able to translate into Russian (official language of EAEU) the information in the orderbook, fulfill application form in Russian, check the drafts of CC.
  • You have knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • You are expert in Certification legislation of EAEU (TR TC 007, 017 mostly needed)
  • You are expert in Government Standards (GOSTs) on fabrics and material compositions of EAE.
  • You are expert in HS codifying in EAEU
  • You are Russian native speaker.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have excellent analytical, problem solving, organization and time management skills.
  • You have commercial orientation towards partner requirements
  • You have attention to detail and the willingness to “discover” and “innovate”. Can-do attitude.
  • You have very good, confident, and assertive yet patient manner.
