PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The job purpose of the Project Coordinator is to oversee the implementation, coordination, and management of the project activities in Armenia. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager and other project partners to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives and deliverables. This role plays a crucial part in driving the transformation of impactful ideas into sustainable social businesses by engaging targeted youth, promoting social entrepreneurship, and fostering a culture of innovation in Armenia. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, project planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, financial management, and reporting. By effectively managing the project and engaging with relevant stakeholders, the Project Coordinator will contribute to the overall success of the project and the advancement of youth-driven social entrepreneurship in Armenia, ultimately leading to positive social and economic impacts in the targeted communities.
The project aims to foster social entrepreneurship and youth empowerment in Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova. The project responds to the growing recognition of social entrepreneurship as a catalyst for sustainable development and aims to provide young change-makers with the tools and opportunities to transform their impactful ideas into sustainable social businesses. Locations for the action in Armenia are Syunik, Gegharkunik and Tavush regions.
By focusing on disadvantaged youth and promoting social enterprises that address community-level problems, the project aims to empower young individuals and create a positive impact at both the local and global levels. Through capacity building, cross-border networking, and improved business environment, the project strives to create sustainable and equitable social economies in Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova.
