Varian is seeking a Sr. SAP SCM Business Analyst. You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining SAP solutions to streamline our supply chain and logistics processes. The person is expected to provide SAP functional leadership for delivering on IT projects including strategic and transformational initiatives for multiple business units globally.

You are responsible for:

  • Partnering with business groups, program leadership and project teams to deliver SAP WM/EWM, LE and TM projects across multiple business units.
  • Designing, configuring, and implementing SAP SCM and Logistics solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.
  • Working collaboratively with Program Leadership to develop business process design and roadmap/strategy in the SAP (WM/EWM, TM and LE) space, and aligned with business goals.
  • Leading business sessions to define high-level business goals/vision, extract business requirements and software selection, define performance indicators, and architect the solution on various IT platforms.
  • Providing project management and solution expertise in SAP Material Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Logistics Execution (LE) and Transportation Management (TM) modules with extensive knowledge of the integration aspects of different business processes with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP Finance (FI) & Project Systems (PS) areas.
  • Developing operating procedures, training materials, test scripts and test cases in the WM/EWM/LE/TM area.
  • Working closely with business and IT to provide support and continuous improvements for applications already in production and used extensively for day-to-day operations. The primary focus will be on processes and applications in the Logistics Execution and Transportation management space.
  • Adhere to Varian’s process in managing the changes through the SAP landscape.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 8 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 6 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects.
  • Experience with project management and systems implementation methodologies.
  • Experience in Logistics Execution and/or Transportation Management.
  • Good knowledge and experience in SAP LE/WM/TM/MM module configuration in SAP S4, knowledge of SAP e-WM and integrations with other modules such as SD, MM, FI, etc.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to interact with senior management.
  • Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
  • Good to have experience in SAP e-WM.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $104,600 - Max $188,400

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
