A Senior Associate in Custody Management Service Representative who can Independently support our team in Zurich, when it comes to client related matters.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior Associate in Custody Management Service Representative you will:

  • Independently act as a point of contact for operational activities and client inquiries
  • Monitor and oversee the performance of Shared Service teams/Operations as it relates to the overall service delivery for the client
  • Ensure prompt follow up on exception situations and facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk to the corporation and deliver excellent service to client
  • Independently deliver highly valued services to client to ensure quality services are consistently delivered and client is offered State Street’s full range of services
  • Independently display and provide expertise in functional and technical knowledge across multiple disciplines attending training as required
  • Proactively share and promote new ideas to support process improvements and changes to team processes
  • Be accountable for quality, accuracy and timeliness of results
  • Ensure team is achieving accuracy and meeting pre-determined deadlines
  • Estimate personnel needs, assign work, oversee short term deliverables, coordinate workflows
  • Apply the 'risk' escalation chain matching the context/policy e.g. operational issues to managers and suspicious transactions to Compliance representatives

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Successfully completed university degree or similar educational background
  • Several years of financial services experience, ideally with custody exposure and knowledge of financial market activities and transactions
  • Fluency in English and German, French language skills are beneficial
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
