Seeking a mid-level Partner Manager to lead day-to-day interactions with high priority partners.  This role will be on the Niantic Business Development team and requires a candidate with attention to detail, promptness, excellent organizational skills, and professional relationship building. The ideal candidate should also possess entrepreneurial, strategic thinking and management-influence skills. You should also have the capability to build strong relationships and prior experience in managing C-level partners to successfully drive our various strategic partnerships. You should possess a keen understanding of legal contracts, be comfortable with deal negotiations and be adept at data processing and optimization.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage Niantic’s partners and maintain partner relationships at executive levels and cross-functionally across Niantic and partner organizations.
  • Ensure partners are fulfilling their various obligations and Niantic is providing the required support for them to do so.
  • Ensure data and performance reporting are delivered on time.
  • Oversee day-to-day partnership management operations such as invoicing, performance reporting, and partner communications.
  • Understand and communicate partner challenges and growth opportunities.
  • Lead and contribute to deal renewals and negotiations.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 4+ years of work experience, ideally in a partner management or business development role
  • Deal-making experience
  • Excellent business acumen with problem solving and analysis skills
  • Extensive experience with data manipulation, reporting, and visualization using Excel
  • Experience working on a highly cross-functional team with the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and multiple priorities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in developing and delivering external partner-facing reports, updates, and presentations
  • Familiarity with location data a plus!
