We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team in Munich. As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will represent Travelzoo as its frontline ambassador and support the full-cycle recruitment process for our different business units in Europe. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be part of an influential Human Resources Team and will collaborate closely with a wide variety of internal stakeholders across different levels.

  • Motivated to efficiently manage full-cycle recruitment including setting the process, managing postings, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, soliciting feedback, completing background checks, preparing and extending offers
  • Inspired to take a creative approach to identify and test new ways of attracting and assessing the best talent
  • Excited to implement innovative sourcing strategies including social networking and direct sourcing, while staying abreast of developing market conditions and trends in the industry
  • Driven to maintain an active pipeline and networking
  • Able to produce regular dashboards and recruitment statistics to the stakeholders, leveraging the reporting tools in place
  • Keen to establish relationships with Managers to get a full understanding of their business objectives, business challenges and culture and use the information in each search
  • Dedicated to keep in contact with new hires to ensure a smooth transition and retention from the beginning of their employment
  • Empowered to cooperate with Talent Acquisition and HR teams globally and align recruiting strategies together with a focus on sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Capable of representing Travelzoo at University Events and Job Fairs

You are ideally… 

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related
  • An experienced recruitment professional with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment (esp. start-ups but also agency or in-house roles)
  • Highly familiar with LinkedIn Recruiter and targeted direct search techniques to recruit for business roles such as sales, digital marketing, content creation, etc. at all levels
  • A professional with a keen eye for outstanding talent in the media industry
  • An excellent communicator with strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to manage up and influence
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively closely as part of a team
  • A high performer with exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, flexible, and ability to multi-task
  • Able to maintain confidential information and discretion
  • Fluent in English, other European languages will be a plus (esp. German, Spanish, or French)
