The Clinton Foundation seeks an experienced and innovative Development professional with a proven track record working in a fast-paced environment in corporate, non-profit, and/or political fundraising. This individual will lead the Development Department’s digital and direct mail fundraising operation. They will focus on building, managing, and executing a comprehensive donor program to recruit, cultivate, and retain donors across all online, social, media, and direct mail channels.
This is a dynamic position for an entrepreneurial professional who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.
Develop and execute aggressive strategies to recruit activists and donors through a multichannel approach including web, email, mobile, direct mail, social media, and online advertising.
Liaise and coordinate with other departments and initiatives to advance donor engagement, cultivation, and the fundraising goals of the Development Department
Establish and manage consultant relationships, performance, and contracts.
Write and edit content for fundraising communications and engagement campaigns.
Provide insights and recommendations on how best to leverage digital and direct mail communications to maximize revenue and improve the long-term donor experience, including researching and testing new platforms, tools, and tactics. Produce reporting, financial forecasting, and relevant metrics for online and direct mail programs.
Coordinate closely with other departments to advance donor engagement, cultivation, and stewardship.
Support the Chief Development Officer and other team members with projects that contribute to the Department’s overall goals and other duties as assigned.
5-7 years of relevant experience in professional digital and direct mail fundraising and development. Experience in national or international organization a plus.
Excellent proficiency with online fundraising and communications systems.
Strong understanding of HTML and content management systems. Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge, or other fundraising databases. Experience with online CRM systems
Proven track-record of driving online fundraising objectives. High-level understanding of online trends and technologies. Strong working knowledge of creative testing and production, and strong understanding of key performance metrics and analysis. Strong ability to manage and work successfully with consultants.
Strong work ethic and follow-through. Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to work in a team and also independently. Flexibility to multi-task and prioritize, manage time effectively, and utilize troubleshooting skills.
