How you’ll make an impact 

Technically, you will…

  • Collaborate effectively and develop relationships with all team members, including other QA Engineers, Software Developers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including Scrum, Refinement, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Planning.
  • Prioritize the team’s understanding of business requirements and user needs.
  • Seek opportunities to grow yourself and your teammates in the Quality Assurance domain and our business domain.
  • Ensure the quality of our products and use strong analytical, problem solving, and people skills to meet the needs of the business.
  • Conduct your own research and exploratory testing to learn our products, features, and upcoming enhancement work.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to understand personas and user needs.
  • Use your knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices to create, complete, and execute detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Clearly organize your documentation of application knowledge, test scenarios, and test results.
  • Use SQL knowledge to effectively test our data, use API knowledge to effectively test our integrations, and use your user knowledge to effectively test our User Interfaces.
  • Identify feature-related bugs and performance improvements and then create corresponding documentation.
  • Prioritize and be a leader of success for our roadmap, our Scrum Team, and the organization as a whole.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risk within the sprint, the project, or the team.
  • Advocate for areas that need improved test coverage and implement additional tests as needed.
  • Develop strong product knowledge and communicate the impact of changes.
  • Initiate conversation around process improvement and questions or uncertainties that arise during a project, and lead the team to resolve these matters.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in manual testing, automation testing, system analysis, or a combination of these.
  • A demonstrable working understanding of full stack systems, from database through UI.
  • Strong SQL knowledge.

It would be nice if you….

  • Have experience with Robot Framework and/or Python.
  • Have experience in Employee Benefits and Healthcare industries.
  • Are able to pick up and relate to multiple concepts quickly.
  • Are able to retain and recall an abundance of information.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $88,000.00 - $117,000.00
