Minimum Qualifications
Position Summary
The post-doctoral associate will conduct research in the lab, such as performing genomic analyses and developing assays. The individual will also communicate regularly with the PI regarding research and other issues relevant to the project, present results to the scientific community and for publication in peer-reviewed journals; and train graduate students, undergraduate students, and other researchers in the lab on methods and techniques as needed.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
Doctorate in Genetics, Biology, Plant Pathology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Research experience with genomics, bioinformatics, and population genetic analyses, and experience working with fungi or other microorganisms. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a publication record.
