General Purpose of Position

The Training Coordinator will work with Manager of Sales Training to plan and coordinate DLT sales training and development courses. This position will administer and maintain the learning management system while supporting the logistics needed for successful delivery of DLT learning programs. They may also be asked to facilitate or deliver trainings.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Administer learning management system to include user maintenance, course calendars, eLearning sessions, course evaluations, learner participation, and enrollment records
  • Create and manage instructor led training schedule
  • Partner with internal DLT subject matter expert instructors to schedule ILT courses and eLearning development
  • Proactively enroll learners in required courses and learning plans
  • Assist with communicating training announcements and invites
  • Issue student invites with all details and logistics – track acceptance
  • Maintain and update training metrics
  • Prepare and report on course evaluations and surveys
  • Manage learning and development resources to include course materials and equipment needed for learning
  • Update and manage corporate university intranet site
  • Set up and take down training facility for learning sessions
  • Assist with logistics, set up, and delivery of DLT new hire orientation
  • Facilitate learning sessions as needed
  • Order lunches/refreshments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Associate degree or comparable work experience

Experience

  • 0-2 years in training function
  • Experience managing schedules and calendars
  • Experience managing tasks and projects
  • Experience managing records and data

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to work effectively with DLT employees and HR staff
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize to achieve results and deadlines
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a commitment to completion of projects on a timely basis
  • An upbeat, positive, outgoing and personable demeanor with the ability to interact and relate well with coworkers
  • Proficient using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in education preferred
  • Experience administering learning management systems
  • Experience in a learning and development or HR function
  • Experience with MS SharePoint
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
