Job Description / Capsule
As AstraZeneca begins to build its position as Rare Disease leader and pursues its goal of bringing the first approved therapy to patients with PN NF-1, we seek a Rare Diseases Medical Lead (or Medical Value Lead or Associate Medical Director) to join our Medical Affairs team in 2023.
The RDML (Rare Disease Medical Lead or Rare Disease Medical Value Lead) is a full-time position, providing a single point of contact for the designated Disease Area (NF1) community within AZ in the country.

The RDL will work very closely with the Country Medical Director (MD) or the Country Oncology TA Lead in HQ to deploying and adapting the AZ International Medical Affairs strategy to the local market, including tactics and execution. The RDL possess an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit. There’s a lot to do - so high energy levels will require agility and flexibility.
RDL Reports to Country Medical Director Lead with dotted line to the International (Associate) Medical Directors for Rare Diseases.
