How Will You Contribute?

  • Plan, Activate, Communicate and Execute all the MBD business drivers.
  • Effectively execute all business drivers as outlined in the Personal Appraisal Performance Plan.
  • Coordinate Monthly Headquarter capabilities and cadence meetings with all Key Retailers.
  • Develop Retailer assessment plan and strategy selling presentations for all our Key Retailers.
  • Prepare selling stories on new item opportunities and monetize programs utilizing our MBD Selling Way.
  • Effectively communicate General Price Increase with our Key Retailers.
  • Effectively manage and communicate our everyday PTC Retail Waterfall methodology.
  • Effectively manage and communicate our recommended promotional strategy for Key brands and packages utilizing our numerator assets.
  • Develop and manage volume driving ad rotation for Key brands and packages.
  • Manage and coordinate a Quarterly Assessment Scorecard and cadence meeting with all Key retail buyers.
  • Manage and coordinate Quarterly Supplier Meetings as needed with all retail buyers.
  • Maintain and organize all DSD Vendor files.
  • Effectively communicate all programming utilizing our Chain Newsletter, Big Bets and our weblinks platform.

KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE SPACE EXPECTIONS:

  • Effectively communicate our MBD Space Methodology capabilities platform.
  • Identify and develop core initiatives with supplier partners.
  • Identify and Develop innovation opportunities with supplier partners.
  • Effectively communicate consumer panel data, IRI analysis and market insights with key retail buyers.
  • Communicate validation notes, adds, deletes, and reset schedules with our Branch Reset Specialists.

KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE TRADE EXECUTION EXPECTATIONS:

  • Work in the trade minimal 1 day a week identifying opportunities, selling in programming, and assisting in display execution.
  • Coordinate and schedule days in the trade with our branch level sales teams on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate and schedule days in the trade with our supplier partners on a monthly basis.
  • Identify and develop relationships with all Retailer District Managers, Center Store Coordinators and Beverage Directors.
  • Sell in programs with all Retailer District Managers, Center Store Coordinators and Beverage Directors to achieve 100% execution on buyer approved programs and initiatives.
  • Sell in and execute all display features, merchandising programs with our branch level sales teams on a weekly basis.
  • Scorecard and provide sales trends and performance analysis utilizing CPG display tracking tools and IRI store level sales data.
  • Effectively maintain all merchandising standards, store display standards, shelf tag maintenance and planogram integrity with our Sales teams.
  • Audit and document retail discrepancies vs. strategy utilizing our Retail Blue Print process.
  • Communicate all retail discrepancies and recommendations to our Retail buyers.

Position Requirements: 

  • Extensive knowledge of the MBD Portfolio, the MBD Chain process and the General Beer Industry.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills.
  • Proven analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Eostar database, Space Planning software and IRI Syndicated data.
  • Knowledge of the following computer programs, (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
  • Proven record of personnel development and training.
  • Ability to effectively direct, assist and work with MBD Management and Sales personnel.
  • Proven record of achievement with District Managers, Center Store Managers, Beverage Directors and Retail Category buyers.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and travel as needed. 

Compensation Range: $86,000 – $95,000

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Reimbursement offered for the use of your car. Benefits available.
