Within the Business Unit Electrical Products (EP) we are shaping the future of all products and technologies for a smart electrical infrastructure that is seamlessly integrated in connected, efficient, and sustainable eco-systems. Our worldwide teams ensure a secure, resource-conserving "Electrification 4.0" throughout our digital power monitoring solutions and products for switching, protecting, monitoring, and controlling low voltage loads.

The key elements of this role involve:

  • Development of devices for power distribution devices and systems.
  • Compliance and improvement of safety standards and processes in the laboratory tests.
  • Implementation and support of UL and IEC approvals.
  • Support of type tests.
  • Improvement and further development of measurement technology, measurement data acquisition and processing in the labs.
  • Manufacturing support in case of e.g., quality issues.
  • Collaboration with other team members and interest in challenging new tasks.

Helping us drive our future vision, your toolkit may include some of these key skills:

  • Master's, degree or comparable degree in electrical engineering
  • Qualified electrician for laboratory works
  • Technical experience in the field of electrical protection devices
  • Knowledge of the relevant national and international standards (e.g., IEC 60898-1, 60898-2, UL489, UL1077)
  • Practiced handling of measuring equipment for low-voltage switchgear and control gear
  • Test field experience
  • Meeting challenges and creativity in problem solving
  • Cooperation and teamwork skills
  • Analysis capability
  • Intercultural experience / sensitivity
  • Language: Romanian, English
