We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Governance Product Manager to join our Treasury Services team. This role is located in Pittsburgh PA, Lake Mary, FL, or New York, NY – Hybrid In Office (3 days in office, 2 days from home).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Provide governance and compliance leadership in a specific business domain within a line of business. 
  • Serves in a cross-program role to ensure deliverables within their areas of expertise.
  • Drives strategic solutions within the business to support mission-critical, large-scale governance and compliance programs. 
  • Provides compliance expertise for a specific business. 
  • Directs and assists team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize requirements, translate into functional design and use case models. 
  • Manage the project scope, objectives, constraints, and assumptions for a large, strategic, multi-year program. 
  • Provide guidance in development of the compliance program, test plans, and user documentation. 
  • Manage scope and change throughout the initiative. 
  • Gather and analyse information and provides recommendations to address strategic business objectives. 
  • Participates in industry forums and keep current on specific business and compliance obligations and regulatory changes. 
  • Applies experiences with existing capabilities to define and collect metrics and develop better reporting. 
  • Sets product vision, defines the solution scope and responsible for creating backlog, epics and validating requirements. 
  • Sets business strategy by working with business and stakeholders and shares the requirements with the team. 
  • Contributes to the achievement of related area objectives. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-12 years experience in managing AML Governance and Compliance programs.
  • 10-12 years of experience in providing consulting advice in business management required, experience in the securities and financial services industry is a plus.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $182,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
