What we're looking for:

We are seeking a Senior Client Lead for our PR team in Riyadh, who will play a pivotal role in managing and cultivating our relationship with a major government client. The role focuses on delivering exceptional PR and communications strategies, managing crisis communications, and overseeing strategic communications and stakeholder management.

To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the government client, ensuring all communication and PR strategies align with their goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communications strategies, including crisis communication plans, to enhance the client's public image and address any communications challenges.
  • Lead and coordinate the execution of strategic communication initiatives, ensuring messages are consistent, timely, and impactful across all channels.
  • Manage stakeholder relations, identify key stakeholders, and develop strategies to engage and communicate with them effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze the media landscape, providing strategic advice to the client on potential public perceptions and advising on appropriate responses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within MEMAC Ogilvy to ensure integrated and cohesive PR campaigns that support the client's objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the PR team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on PR campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to the client and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in public relations or communications, with a significant focus on government clients or similar high-profile sectors.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful PR and communications strategies, crisis communication plans, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent understanding of the media landscape and experience in media relations.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, to cater to the local and international aspects of the role.
