Duration: 12 Months

Pay range: $60-68/HR on W2 (Only for CA and NY)

In this role, the analyst will be responsible for planning, budgeting, communication, and reporting related to Channel Experiences Operations across both existing and future partners. The ideal candidate should have experience in retail and marketing operations, as well as proficiency in data analysis, dashboard creation, and budget management.

The primary focus of the Client’s Labs Retail Operations Analyst is to ensure that all data, budgets, and records are accurately maintained and easily accessible. Visualization through dashboards is a key aspect. Additionally, mastery and oversight of reports are critical for efficient operations.

The role requires proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and implement solutions. It is impact-driven, emphasizing accuracy and organization. The analyst collaborates across various teams, including channel marketing, finance, operations, sales, analytics, and external vendors, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Data Gathering and Cleaning:
  • Collect and clean data from various sources, including surveys, websites, and external datasets.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain data models.
  • Analysis and Interpretation:
  • Analyze sales figures, inventory data, and operational metrics.
  • Dive deep into retail data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Evaluate performance metrics such as sales, inventory, and customer engagement behavior.
  • Process Optimization and Efficiency:
  • Build customized processes based on business needs and requirements.
  • Optimize partner sales and operational reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Partner with Channel Marketing Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between global 3rd party labor partners and internal teams.
  • Foster positive relationships with manufacturer representatives and customers.

Decision-Making:

  • Leverage partnerships with the internal analytics and data engineering team.
  • Assess and provide detailed recommendations for Client’s Labs initiatives.
  • KPI Management and Budget Forecasting:
  • Develop KPI management tools and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Finance on budget forecasting reports.
  • Operational Insights and Strategic Solutions:
  • Analyze processes to improve performance for end users.
  • Propose innovative solutions based on data-driven insights.
  • Reporting and Data Integrity:
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in retail, finance, channel marketing analytics, or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in retail analytics or related fields is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Creating/Managing Data Visualization experience with proficiency in Tableau/PowerBi preferred.
  • Microsoft and Google Suite expert proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consumer Electronics experience.
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Hive, and other data visualization and customization tools.
  • Tableau Certified Data Analyst preferred.
  • Familiarity with retail partners and their guidelines/processes.
  • Experience within a brand managing analysis and budgets.

The main function of a data analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. A typical database analyst/programmer is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.

  • Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
  • Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
  • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Basic knowledge of database management software.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R)
  • Build reports on unites and tableau

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Gathering requirements and understanding the needs of the retail partner 
  • Someone who has worked in the Finance team like report building, budget attainment and keeping a tracking of the budgets
  • Publishing report, fixing reports, troubleshooting a report

Total No of years of experience: 

5+ years of professional experience in retail, finance, channel marketing analytics, or relevant experience.

Degree / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science).

Tableau certification is a must. Should have completed level 1 and level 2 certificate
