Job Overview

The Video Editor & Motion Designer is a key member of IQVIA’s Brand & Creative Studio team. They are responsible for editing video and audio, creating visual storyboards, and designing and animating motion graphics. They will report into the Global Video Lead to develop concepts, execute on video and audio projects, and evolve our video and motion graphics branding. The ideal candidate should showcase in their portfolio of work, a sharp eye for video editing, beautiful motion design and animation, experience, Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and teamwork.

Job responsibilities:

• Work with the Global Video Lead to ideate for video and audio projects
• Visually storyboard videos and motion graphics from provided scripts
• Manage multiple video editing, motion design, and audio requests at a time, from multiple teams throughout the organization
• Conduct small to large editing and motion design tasks on existing videos, and help create new videos, animations, or motion graphics
• Contribute to and maintain IQVIA’s video/audio brand guidelines
• Use creative problem-solving and design skills to execute requests
• Confidently present your design thinking and explain your rationale for your concepts
• Communicate with internal clients and external vendors

Required Knowledge, Experience and Education:

• Bachelors or equivalent experience in video/media production or communication, graphic design, motion graphics or related creative field
• At least 5 years of experience as a video editor and motion graphics designer at ad agencies, production studios, or corporations
• Extensive experience in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Good knowledge of graphic design required to execute motion designs
• Digital portfolio required at time of application
• Fluent English speaker - bilingual or professional proficiency
