Clinical Associate Professor (open rank) in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education
The Department of Special Education, Early Childhood, & Prevention Science at the University of Louisville invites applications for a Clinical Assistant or a Clinical Associate (non-tenure track) Professor position in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. The Department seeks individuals who have a strong teaching and research background, or the clear potential for one, and whose focus is on the science and practice of research-based instruction for young children.
Department, College, and University
The Department of Special Education, Early Childhood, & Prevention Science currently includes 11 tenure-line faculty members and several clinical and grant-funded personnel. Faculty members are committed to engagement in public school settings and regularly visit classrooms for research, training, and student supervision. The Department currently has approximately $2 million in annual external funding that involves collaborative projects across faculty. The Department houses CIBRS (the Center for Instructional and Behavioral Research in Schools; https://cibrs.com), the Kentucky Autism Training Center (KATC; http://louisville.edu/education/kyautismtraining), and the Early Childhood Research Center (https://louisville.edu/education/centers/ecrc). Additionally, the department is affiliated with the Early Learning Campus (ELC; http://louisville.edu/education/elc).
