Location Description

Hawks Cay Resort, an iconic destination resort in the Florida Keys, reopened in August 2018 following a $50 million renovation. A recipient of the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award and a member of the Preferred Hotel Group Lifestyle Collection, this 60-acre, tropical destination boasts 177 guestrooms and 250 two- and three-bedroom villas, a full-service marina, six restaurants, saltwater lagoon, five swimming pools, kid and teen clubs and spa.

We are looking for individuals with vibrant personalities, great attention to detail to join our team as a Recreation Attendant. Your Role:

  • Engage with our guests to ensure their stay is going well
  • Work as a team to enhance the our guests experience
  • Maintain an active presence around the recreational areas, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Keeping record of recreation inventory to ensure we have fresh, and clean towels to provide to guest as needed.
  • Assist with creative ideas to enhance our camp programs, kids night activities, booking reservations and additional duties.
  • Provide accurate information to hotel/resort guests. 
  • Check in arriving guests towith recreational reservations, helping them to identify as hotel/resort guests and to find available recreational options for them
  • Completeing daily tasks set bu department leaders in the prescribed manner while following department standards and operating procedures.
  • Assist in set-up and break down the Coral Cay areas and activities to ensure both you and the guest havea successful day
  • Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.
  • Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members.
  • Provide exceptional customers service by being engaging and taking sincer interest.
  • Help to resolve problems and "WOW" guests through recovery when things aren't quite right
  • Promote and sell kids activities and rentals
  • Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and polciies.
  • Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty.
  • Follow set procedures on far harbor bookings and activities
  • Host camp up to two times daily
  • Host night outon weekends. Assis other departments as needed.
