Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to serve as Digital Product Manager for our Marketing Channels Program. In this role, you will enable Marketing Channel solutions to drive Demand Generation by effectively engaging customers across various digital touchpoints in every stage of their journey. You will work with the Sr. Product Manager of Marketing Channels to develop and implement the Marketing Channel strategy, tools, and initiatives. You will have individual responsibility for the process, technology, and capabilities related to Ad Technology, Omni-channel management, and Marketing Automation. The Marketing Channels product manager will also be responsible for developing Generative AI solutions to enhance and scale customer interactions across Digital touchpoints. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and optimization of the marketing channel solutions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing processes, technology, and customer needs, along with strong project management and communication skills.

A day in the life:

  • Strategic Leadership and Planning - Leads project discovery, requirements definition, and metric analysis. While working with IT and business teams to facilitate the development of new capabilities in the area of Marketing Channel technology. Develop the product and feature roadmap in the area of responsibility.
  • Marketing Channel Technology - Work with the marketing teams to define the process and build new capabilities for Digital Advertising, Omni-channel management, and Marketing Automation.
  • Generative AI - Drive the development and execution of our product strategy for applying Generative AI to enhance the effectiveness and operational efficiency within marketing.
  • Insights – Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness, the impact of demand generation initiatives, and provide regular reports or insights to stakeholders.
  • Customer Data Privacy - Responsible for support and compliance with global data privacy laws within the product management area of responsibility
  • Builds argument to justify expenditures for new capabilities with demonstrated revenue and profitability gain.
  • Responsible for improving, scaling, optimizing, and the adoption of product area capabilities across Thermo Fisher Scientific business divisions.
  • Develops strategies and capabilities to use artificial intelligence and machine learning for Lead Management
  • Ability to research competitor dynamics and capabilities, voice of the customer, and customer wants/needs. Subject matter expert in the area of Ad Tech & Marketing Automation tools.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of initiatives by balancing the business needs versus technical constraints, and calling out issues and risks to drive solutions as vital.
  • Performs marketing maturity evaluations across Thermo Fisher businesses and regional marketing team readiness to embrace new capabilities.
  • Interacts with Sr. Manager/Director level Leadership; leads by influence, engages with cross-functional teams; evangelist for transforming the way we work and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates among internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives with company goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience (Sales technology, Sales Operations or Digital product management)

Experience:

  • Experience developing strategy and achieving goals by translating strategy into projects and leading project execution
  • Shown experience as a Product Manager or similar role, with a focus on marketing demand generation
  • Able to bridge the gap between Marketing, Sales, and IT
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully improve technology investments
  • Ability to translate strategy into projects and drive project execution; experience with budgeting and business planning

Knowledge, Skills Abilities

  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills; outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to formulate and drive detailed plans and key performance indicators to report on the health of each project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional areas (IT, Business Marketing, Sales, eBusiness, Digital Marketing, Finance) and third-party vendors throughout project definition and execution.
  • Able to establish relationships with key individuals vital for collaboration
  • Develop and present communications, frequently to senior leadership, communicating the desired message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
