Who You Are 

Slalom Consulting is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, and progressive leader to drive Salesforce services and client success with our Los Angeles clients. This person will provide thought leadership to our enterprise and mid-market clients, set strategic direction for the Salesforce team, and generally be accountable for ensuring the overall quality execution of business and technology consulting across Salesforce engagements. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Accountability for driving quality, business development, account management, and operational aspects, including: 
  • Practice Building – Drive overall client account growth through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership. 
  • Team & Individual Development – Responsible for People/Career Management and project staffing. 
  • Account Management/Business Development – Work with our Sales and Client Partners to build pipeline and develop GTM strategies.
  • Responsible for delivery excellence on engagements by doing the following: 
  • Collaborate with other key delivery roles to manage scope, translate difficult technical solutions into business terminology, and provide client expectation management, risk identification and management, and if necessary, air cover for the team. 
  • Serve as an Engagement Lead, managing engagement risk and project economics, including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for large, complex deliveries; drive conversations with our customer's enterprise architects and business stakeholders armed with best practices for enterprise architecture functions.
  • Identifies new opportunities for growth of Salesforce offerings within existing and new clients. 
  • Drives business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the offering. 
  • Develops and delivers best practices, delivery templates, and point-of-view papers. Creates reusable collateral to be used as sales and delivery accelerators. 
  • Provides oversight and governance of all sold and managed Salesforce.com projects. 
  • Supports recruiting and onboarding of new employees. 
  • Build and develop relationships with Salesforce.com and own joint sales pursuits. 
  • Maintain awareness of industry-leading practices and business levers for cloud offerings and understand how Slalom practice areas interact. 
  • Responsible for People/Career Management and project staffing. 

What You’ll Bring 

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in a large consulting environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience meeting revenue quotas and utilization targets for self and team. 
  • Understanding of key operational metrics utilized to run a successful Salesforce business. 
  • Strong business operations acumen (e.g., invoicing, SOWs, margins, utilization). 
  • Expert business development skills. 
  • Expert at project delivery, including all aspects of program management and the SDLC. 
  • Experience with managing and leading people, including mentoring and coaching skills. 
  • Active Salesforce.com certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire. 
  • Technical understanding of Salesforce.com with demonstrated understanding of and experience with Salesforce.com architecture and APIs.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, we’re targeting candidates at the Senior Principal to Director level; the base salary pay range is $153K to $281K and the targeted base salary range is $178K to $243K. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time. 

Location 

This is a Los Angeles-based role and not eligible for 100% remote work.
