Position Summary

As a Competitive Intelligence Analyst in the Product Strategy team, you will be instrumental in streamlining the competitive intelligence processes to provide insights and data to help drive our key product initiatives, go-to-market strategies and roadmap! If you’re proactive, data & process-driven, a problem solver, a team player, and ready to make an impact, come join us!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Work closely with the product team to generate intelligence on products, align market and competitor trends, and support product roadmap planning. 
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate market data and trends related to the financial services technology industry and identify early warnings on shifts in the marketplace and how they apply to the financial industry.
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with Sales & Marketing to gain insights from the “field.”
  • Identify information sources and gaps, and to create plans to solve for both high-level and tactical business problems.
  • Lead discussions with our customers and prospects to gain competitive intelligence.

About you 

  • 2+ years of market intelligence, financial analysis or business analytics background required
  • Applicable experience in business/competitive analysis
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in business analysis and reporting methods
  • Position requires advanced skills Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook) and G Suite applications.
  • Proven leadership skills and business acumen
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Information Science or Information Technology) preferred
  • Quick learner and strategic thinker, with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills along with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to distill complex information into key concepts and actionable intelligence
  • Strong communication skills across verbal, written and presented content.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a rapidly growing and changing team environment
  • Must be dynamic, innovative, and possess creative problem solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented individual
  • Understanding of the accounts payable ecosystem and B2B payments systems are preferred but not required.

Anticipated base pay rate for this position : $80,000 - $100,000 USD per annum
