Responsibilities

  • Implementing programs and procedures to keep the Rivian facilities and properties operating at their best, exceeding our expectations by responding to all service and repair work orders; providing corrective action as needed. 
  • Drive and monitor vendor performance to maintain Rivian standards, reviewing vendor proposals and invoices, ensuring scope of work is captured and accurate. 
  • Communicate status updates, maintain accurate records, and official documentation. Track and report key performance indicators for Quarterly Business Reviews, ensuring operational efficiency. 
  • Identifying and escalating reoccurring issues, while providing feedback for programmatic changes based on findings. 
  • Managing and supporting after-hours escalations and weekend emergencies on a rotational basis. Note that this role will support U.S. locations and require flexible working hours.
  • Track, manage, analyze purchase requisitions, and operating expenses. Identify and report any inconsistent data to determine the impact and/or accuracy of expenses. 
  • Partnering with internal and external partners to ensure warranty and landlord related work orders are completed within a timely manner. 
  • Perform ad hoc facility management projects as identified by the Repair and Maintenance manager including; new site openings and small works requests. 

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English reading and writing. 
  • 2-3 years of facilities, project management, or construction experience. 
  • A self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accurate, and timely communicator, with the ability to shift focus and adjust to rapidly changing priorities. 
  • Ability to operate independently, raise escalations, and communicate rapidly. 
  • Proven operating knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, interior/exterior repairs, and services. 
  • Proven ability to manage third party vendor relationships. 
  • Experience in customer service with a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software with ability to learn new software’s quickly (PO management systems, CMMS, Design & Construction tools).
  • Ability and willingness to travel dependent on business needs.
