The way we work:

Project Manager is driving project from start to end (game release). Project duration for game development can be anywhere from 2 months (short) to 9 months (long). You will be part of Project Management team and closely cooperating with Game developers, Game designers, Graphic artists, Mathematicians and Test Engineers, in a good working atmosphere. Several projects run in parallel.

NOTE: This position is requiring consultant base contract. We would like to offer you B2B contract with your own company, initially on one year with possibility for extension. You would be paid per working hour in full amount. Our current needs are 40 hours per week.

What you’ll do:

  • You will lead creative people like Developers, Graphic Artists, Mathematicians, and Testers from a first creative sketch towards a successful technical game release to the market.
  • You are responsible for planning (budget, resources, timelines), documentation, status meetings, reporting and efficient realization of the gaming projects in our development studio
  • Identifying & resolving discrepancies in planned costs versus actual cost and overall financial management for assigned projects.
  • Developing and reviewing detailed project plans and tracking financial information
  • You motivate and manage all project team members (Game Producer, Graphic Artist, Mathematicians, Software Engineers and Testers) to successfully complete each project in Agile methodology
  • You ensure full communication flow of all relevant information between project team members 
  • You monitor the product development process entirely from initial stage to the full release
  • You are acting as the contact person for all stakeholders and a primary problem solver
  • Acted as liaison between IT Engineers and Senior Business Management to facilitate communication and achieve business goals.
  • You are responsible to resolve and follow up on issues, answer oral and written communication promptly, compromise when issues arise and find various management approaches in order to successfully deliver a game to the market
  • You are responsible for project planning and tracing as well as regular reporting to all parties
  • You are responsible to learn our products well so that you are a point of contact for game features for various parties
  • You are responsible for adequate risk management and setting priorities and to conduct risk analysis to determine the best course of action 
  • You will prepare and support games throughout different game shows/presentations 
  • You will act as product owner for you product
  • Implement and configure Jira and other supporting project management software
  • Built project strategies based on both Agile and PMI waterfall standards
  • Continuously sought and supported new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the team efficiency and to improve release to market time.
  • Create and maintain management processes and train others on how to correctly implement them.
  • Create and maintain training documentation and technical documentation that allowed others to learn more effectively.

Must haves:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in leading software development projects either as project manager or as a product owner
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with proactive approach and effective risk management
  • University degree (FON, PMF, ETF, etc) and/or adequate work experience
  • Proficient communication skills, persuasiveness and result orientation to succeed
  • Excellent English oral and written skills that are mandatory due to global projects

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in software methodologies like Agile (Scrum and/or Kanban), Waterfall etc 
  • Certification like PMP, Prince2 or certification in Agile 
  • Experience in different ticketing tool usage like JIRA, Red Hat or similar
