Role: DevOps Engineer

Location - USA (Remote)

Overview of Position

DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing application solutions in AZURE cloud environment, implementing infrastructure automation code, managing the deployment of application in AZURE cloud environment, and supporting the applications. You will work closely with other developers and technical management to support and building of API Platform in Azure.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions in the public cloud, especially in AZURE.
  • Participate in automation initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and reduce hosting cost.
  • Work closely with Platform Team, Solution Architects, and development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Enhance and drive automation and "Infrastructure as Code" delivery.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues and develop tools/systems for task automation.
  • Responsible for managing and upgrading DevOps toolsets.
  • Maintaining 100% automation coverage of core Insight build and deploy using cloud-native services and containers.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, python, Kubernetes and AKS.
  • Troubleshooting network issues,
  • Attending Sev1 Calls

  • API and Rest knowledge

What are the requirements for this position?

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • At least 5 Years of experience in Azure development and terraform automations.
  • Coding and code reading skills for automation skills.
  • Ability to analyze, adapt code, implement a build strategy.
  • Ability to work with scenarios, cloud architectures, monitoring skills and concepts.
  • Strong experience with AZURE technologies from common features. VMs, Vnet, VM Scale Sets, Functions, Images, LB, Application Gateways, Storage Accounts, Blobs, Containers, CosmosDB, MySQL, PostgresSQL, Azure CLI, DataLake Analytics, Queue Storage, Service Bus, DNS, Elastic on Azure etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing infrastructure-as-a-code using Terraform and Ansible
  • Must have experience with Azure Monitoring tools such as Azure Log analytics, Azure Network watcher and Azure Service Heath to diagnose and minimize service degradation or interruptions.
  • Experience in using monitoring tools like Azure monitoring, Dynatrace to setup the desired alerts.
  • Experience in Python, shell scripts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
