Capacity Analyst

  • Work closely with Planners and Schedulers to optimize product flow.
  • Manage and Analyze multiple data systems to Create high-level business production plans, Maintain business processes for Production Control, and Forecast production capacity.
  • Perform short and long-range planning for assigned functional areas and implement approved plans.
  • Understand upcoming project demand requirements and collaborate with the Production Schedulers to accurately understand current and future capacity constraints.
  • Use data from Master Scheduler to perform capacity and resource planning for Production and Assembly & Test (A&T) areas .
  • Construct various scenarios of current and future contract proposals to support business objectives.
  • Build and maintain the capacity and demand models for assigned manufacturing areas.
  • Identify short and long-term manpower and workcenter constraints early.
  • Redirect Program Planner and Scheduler to adapt and meet business objectives.
  • Manage high-level production plans, and communicate plans to PMO and Program Planners.
  • Develop capacity planning data tools, then submit to Operations for review and support.
  • Integrate A&T into production schedules and provide load boards with operation detail.
  • Provide hours analysis to support load board generation and verification.
  • Communicate overall project health to management and PMO.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Five (5) years' experience in production planning, Inventory Control, or Scheduling.
  • Experience analyzing multiple data systems, planning and forecasting.
  • Understand statistical concepts used to evaluate risk and uncertainty.
  • Highly Analytical Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience using an MRP system.

Significant Experience will be considered in lieu of degree** Salary commensurate with experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related major
  • SAP-PP/DS, ProModel
  • EVM
