Kaleris is seeking a top-notch Support Engineer in Mexico. You will work from our site in Veracruz or hybrid or remote, and report to the CVS Support manager. You will be part of a global customer support team providing 1st and 2nd Level Support for our Loading Computer MACS3, our Stowage Planning, and Cloud products. 

Responsibilities 

  • Supporting our customers in using our software and hardware products in English 
  • Analyzing/identifying customer needs and preparing a solution by cooperating with other departments 
  • Connecting between our customers and our software development group 
  • Managing the case life cycle by using our ticketing tool 
  • Building and updating our knowledge database for our customers in order to raise quality standards and improve our products 
  • Providing 24/7 support for critical issues 

Requirements 

  • A degree in Computer Science or similar or Marine Architecture, and knowledge in the maritime environment OR a strong maritime background, paired with good IT skills and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems 
  • A strong customer orientation; good communication skills; natural patience in stressful situations
  • Strong English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Teamwork and team orientation is mandatory
  • Willingness to continuously learn through in-house trainings or self-studies
