This role is essential in making the department run as efficiently, yet compassionately, as possible. 

This role would be the trusted learning source that our people seek out to receive support and direction. 

As a co-ordinator, this role will partner up with members of our Learning & Development team on numerous projects to ensure quality resources are created, from e-learning modules to creating merchandise. 

Organisation is key, as is a drive to work with people to further Ogilvy in being a place people want to work. All achieved with creative thinking, team collaboration and putting our learners first. 

A bit about you:  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Managing learning requests, dealing with and delegating appropriately amongst the team. 
  • Ability to seek out and understand data, such as behavioural and performance, to identify knowledge gaps and areas in need of improvement 
  • Key liaison between learners, the business, facilitators and more around the organisation of their learning opportunities 
  • Lead the learning logistics from sourcing on brand external experts to following up with how this development has embedded into behaviours or skills 
  • Help source on brand external experts, suppliers and trainers to support with learning requirements within the business. 
  • Gathering feedback on how learning has been implemented 
  • Liaising with our L&D Business Partner and Head of Learning & Development to have a cohesive approach in supporting business needs 
  • Researching and recommending new training techniques, new suppliers, latest trends and updating our in-house resources to reflect developments within the industry 
  • Raising POs and working closely with Finance & the Head of Learning & Development to manage our budget 
  • Sourcing locations, booking rooms and co-ordinating logistics for training. 
  • Co-ordinating with external suppliers and negotiating rates 
  • Being our Onboarding lead, working with several departments, to ensure a consistent and immersive experience for learners 
  • Creating relevant in-house resources for team members such as comms, pdfs, etc 
  • As the business changes with the times, being open to learning more to stay ahead of trends and support the business as well as each other within the team 
  • Support with organising internal learning events such as Learning Days. 
  • Co-ordination of Early Career initiatives such as apprenticeships and work experience. 
  • The responsibilities of this role aren't limited to this list and there may be ad hoc requirements outside of this which you will be required to support with. 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Detail orientated organisational skills 
  • Collaborative working style 
  • Ability to communicate with efficiency yet empathy across all levels 
  • Skilled in Excel (2010 onwards) I.e Pivot Tables/Vlookups 
  • Understanding of how to manage a department budget 
  • Experience in raising POs & Invoices 
  • Interest in learning training specific techniques and software 
  • Effective project management skills 
  • Basic ability to operate AV equipment, such as VC software, projectors, etc Efficient with tech equipment such as AV, projectors etc 
  • Knowledge of LMS’ and ability to assign appropriate development pathways to learners
