Job Title- Lending Advisory & Service (LAS), Team Loan Documentation

Location- Mumbai

Role Description

Lending Advisory & Service Germany (LAS) is part of the Trade Finance & Lending organisation of the Corporate Bank and sees itself as a partner of the business units for joint success with the client.

The Loan Documentation Germany team is closely linked to the business (Relationship Managers /Salespersons) and forms an essential interface between the Front Office, Credit Risk Management, Legal and Operations.

In addition, as part of our advisory activities, we provide our internal business partners with in-depth expertise (e.g. in complex and international cash pool and loan structures).

We are thus in constant exchange with the business partners involved in the deal. As part of the client portfolio responsibility, as well as the function as doc-owner, each team member is responsible for the preparation and negotiation of the loan agreement documentation, including the commissioning of the downstream processing, as well as the supervision of the loan agreement agreements during the loan life cycle.

In addition, each team member advises and supports on structuring activities, collateral agreements and cash management issues, mainly for setting up international cash pool structures including the corresponding limit setups.

The regular tasks of the respective portfolio manager also include the preparation of complex client reports, which have to be prepared according to individual client specifications.

Furthermore, the team is responsible for the further development and harmonisation of processes through active participation in project work (e.g. E2E Lending, Unity). Special topics such as accompanying clients in the context of Brexit, supporting large transactions in Luxembourg, as well as the embassy business are also part of our range of tasks. Policy design and various control functions round off our area of responsibility.
