Position Overview:

The Director of Lifecycle Marketing will lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of the Lifecycle team and its programs, with a primary focus on email marketing. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the role involves owning the email marketing channel, developing strategic roadmaps, executing campaigns across audience segments, and reporting on impacts tied to business objectives.

This role is remote-first and has in-office requirements in Austin, TX . Team members must reside in Texas.

Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end lifecycle marketing, with a specific focus on the email channel.

  • Develop segmentation and communication strategies tied to business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Enterprise Sales, and Product counterparts for holistic content strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team to optimize team workflows and priorities.
  • Analyze, report, and communicate results, providing actionable insights for testing and optimization.
  • Identify and test new opportunities across engagement functionalities (retargeting, SMS, direct mail, etc.).
  • Conduct in-depth Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) analysis, utilizing financial metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Implement cohort analysis to understand user behavior over time, enabling the identification of trends and informing targeted strategies.
  • Develop and execute A/B testing strategies across non-paid marketing channels, including Email, Push, Display, and in-app messaging.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to improve content discoverability for new subscribers.
  • Adopt an experiment framework and manage a test and learn roadmap for continuous optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of email marketing experience, emphasizing engagement and revenue objectives.
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading loyalty marketing programs is a plus.
  • Proficient in conducting detailed Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) analysis and cohort analysis.
  • Proven experience in using financial metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Strong experience with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and BI and marketing automation tools. Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Looker a plus.
  • E-commerce experience is a significant plus.
  • This position is remote-first in Austin, TX and has in office requirements. Must reside in Texas.
