Job Summary :

We are seeking a new Senior Engineer who will work on Product Design team responsible for a highly Product Design & NPD. This role requires a deep understanding of Design software processes (specifically Autocad & Creo), efficient project management capabilities, superb communication talent.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Understand & prioritize the key customer requirements (Internal / External) & Problem Statements 
  • Idea generation, concept feasibility, concept development and detail design for new development products as well as existing products.
  • Handle Cost saving & Quality Improvement projects.
  • Deployment of DFMA practices into product design
  • Design verification by calculations and simulation tools 
  • Work on building & Testing of functional prototypes, and evaluation of test results 
  • Work on costed BOM, PLM tool (Teamcenter). 
  • Collaborate and manage with various stakeholders including engineering, sourcing, Tech service, marketing, and manufacturing to achieve appropriate project goals.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum work experience of 7 to 10 years in Mechanical / Mechatronics engineering after graduation. 
  • Possess good CAD knowledge (Preferred Solid Works / Solid Edge)
  • Good in communication to convey ideas/ thoughts for global clients. 
  • Good awareness of manufacturing processes like different type of casting / Plastic molding / Forging / machining
  • Experience on Universal / Brushless DC Motor / Gear design & Lay outing will be preferred.
  • Experience on Appliance product design will be added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
  • knowledge on GD&T / Tolerance Stack-up analysis
  • Project Management (Planning / Risk assessment / Reviews)
