What You’ll Do:

News Corp is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for a contract role in our New York office. The

Administrative Assistant role will handle the day-to-day operations of our New York office as well

as provide back up administrative support to the management team. The ideal candidate will be

able to multitask while maintaining a professional, enthusiastic personality. This is a full-time

position in the office five days a week. Hours 8:00am - 5:00pm with an hour for lunch. The position

may lead to a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

Perform front office reception duties, such as answering calls, greeting visitors, booking

conference rooms, handling incoming mail and deliveries, etc.

Provide back-up administrative support as needed, calendar management, assisting with

scheduling, etc. during high-volume times.

Maintain office supply and kitchen inventory and appearance.

Maintain office equipment including Xerox printers, conference room A/V, kitchen

appliances

Maintain HQ Org Chart, Seating Charting

Maintain master keys for varies offices

Manage special meeting arrangements including catering, a/v, etc.

Serve as the primary contact for fire drills, security issues, etc. for respective area

Special assignments as needed.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

2-4 years of Front Desk Receptionist in a professional environment.

Must be proficient with both Mac and PC environments.

Must be proficient in Google platform and Microsoft office.

Must have strong interpersonal communication skills, be organized and able to work

independently.

Job Category:

Pay Range: 40,000 - 60,000
