Overview

Be part of a progressive market research team with a leader in the casino gaming industry. IGT is looking for an energetic and outgoing market research professional to help conduct research projects on casino games, markets, and customers.

Who you are:

o Motivated self-starter who is passionate about growing their market research career

o Confident in providing input and sharing ideas with the team

o Team player who is comfortable wearing different hats and working with people at all levels of business from diverse backgrounds

Specific tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Overall design of project specifications and methodologies for qualitative and quantitative market research projects, including creation of project-specific materials such as market research briefs, surveys, and fielding plans
  • Programming of online surveys
  • Conduct in-field interviews with players and customers 
  • Design, coordinate, and execute all phases of market research projects, including logistics, fielding, analysis, and creation of deliverables
  • Production of intelligible and comprehensive analytical reports
  • Ensure transparent, consistent communications with internal stakeholder teams and external partners

Work Location:

IGT is offering a hybrid in-office/at-home, flexible work setting based at our Las Vegas, NV office.

Qualifications

The Market Research Analyst will work with the market research team to run an efficient program which keeps both the budget and the company’s overall goals in mind. They will be responsible for ensuring that each project yields actionable results which will be used to inform product decisions at all levels of the organization. 

Required Qualifications:

o 2+ years’ experience in commercial or academic research (design and execution)

o Proficiency with Microsoft office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

o Outstanding verbal and written communications skills 

o Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills

o Strong organizational and time management/prioritization skills

o Ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail

o Highly motivated, collaborative attitude

o Able to work across business verticals in a collaborative, cross-functional manner

o Ability to travel to fieldwork locations (local, domestic, and international)

o Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings

o Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Human Factors, Statistics, Research Methodologies, or similar

Preferred Qualifications: 

o Experience in the casino gaming industry

o Hands-on experience moderating in-depth interviews, focus groups, and similar

o Successful completion of a professional moderator training program (Riva, Burke, etc.)

o Ability to type verbatim notes in real-time

o Data analysis experience (either SPSS or Excel)

o Survey writing and fielding experience

o Online survey programming experience: Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, etc.)

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $50,000-$101,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
