About the role

As an Assistant Brand Manager at Reckitt, you'll nurture our brands with creativity and strategic insight. This position is responsible for supporting the Brand’s equity-building activities in market for Mucinex. The position resides within the US Marketing function and will support Marketing leadership for the assigned brands through the achievement of specific growth objectives within the category in Equity, Activation and Innovation capacities. The Assistant Brand Manager will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy and is expected to drive the growth of his/her assigned brands through excellent marketing execution. and is expected to work in close collaboration with Finance/Trade / Sales/ Shopper/ Medical, Regulatory, Supply and other cross-functional teams.

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll: 

  • Support the GBMM to manage a brand within the context of the agreed strategies to maximize long term sales and profitability
  • Manage day-to-day interface and key business activities for assigned brand(s) and select portfolio-wide responsibilities 
  • Assume accountability and autonomy to lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of assigned workstreams to activate equity building & innovation strategies including packaging, EPDs and operations.
  • Analyze brand, market & competitive trends and recommend suitable actions.
  • Manage marketing budget for core workstreams & coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure optimal spending 

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum university educated (to bachelor's level) in a commercial subject. MBA preferred.
  • 1-3 Years of classical marketing experience or MBA, must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills and potential, developed within a CPG environment.
  • Prior experience in related fields (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Advertising) a plus
  • Capable of analyzing data to draw conclusions from the data
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing agency relationships preferred 
  • Strong commercial awareness, Entrepreneurial, Ability to influence, Creativity
  • Strong sense of urgency and achievement, Resilient and able to respond under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills, financial skills, and P&L understanding
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, financial skills, Forecasting and P&L understanding

  • $119,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
