Job Description:

  • Understand fundamentals of integrated circuits process technologies and design flows
  • Develop and maintain Process Design Kits (PDKs) including the creation of technology files, symbols, programmable layouts, and input validation
  • Install, configure, and customize outside foundry PDKs (TSMC, Global Foundry, UMC, etc.)
  • Develop automation utilities using SKILL (Cadence) or Python programming languages
  • Scripting using Python or Bash on the LINUX platform
  • Maintain web documentation
  • Run physical verification (DRC, LVS), etc.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Fresh graduate or final year student in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Basic electronic device knowledge
  • Programming fundamentals
  • Willing to keep up with the latest technologies used for IC design
  • Familiarity with EDA tools used in chips design (like Cadence Virtuoso) may be a plus
  • Ability to learn new technical skill and work in a fast paced, results oriented team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
