About this role:

The Procure to Pay Specialist manages a variety of systems and processes related to the purchasing and payment of goods and services in support of Gartner associates and initiatives worldwide. This includes all steps leading up to timely and accurate payments to suppliers, including supplier set up/maintenance/review, PO requisitioning, invoice entry, OCR oversight, reporting and customer service. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Shift Timing: 2PM to11 PM IST
  • Responsible for Global AP vendor creation/maintenance, including KYS (Know your Supplier and compliance/risk), tax review/assessments, and invoice processing. Review vendor Master File for accuracy
  • Manage suppliers through the onboarding experience through proactive communication and resolution of onboarding issues and delays. Daily communication (meetings, phone calls, emails) with internal stakeholders and suppliers at all levels on P2P queries.
  • Management of the team shared email box. Including answering of all Level 1 questions, providing education to customers and suppliers on Gartner processes and triaging to the respective team when necessary to meet customer service SLA.
  • Work to drive supplier usage to Gartner’s spend management tool and ensure the optimal path of onboarding, invoicing and payment is used to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Design and report on metrics that highlight the supplier onboarding experience timeliness and accuracy of vendor creation.
  • Create and implement process improvements to drive customer satisfaction through the procure to pay experience by identifying issues in day to day tasks and voice of customer feedback on areas of opportunity.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business area or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work during US time zone
  • Excellent customer service skills both written and oral
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience as a P2P Specialist or relevant business experience of IT and non-IT products and services. Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard Procure to Pay best practices.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make timely decisions with regard to vendor problem resolution, invoice and quote reconciliation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience and proficiency with standard procurement and contract management systems such as Oracle procurement modules; Contract Management Tool; DocuSign, Excellent Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner;
