Job Summary:
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director and work in collaboration with the team to generate new opportunities and revenue from prospects and within the existing client base. The successful candidate will help define, create, and manage digital and print content and collateral.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will also maintain the team’s marketing automation program and utilize iterative tactics to refine prospect attraction through search engine optimization, email, and social media. The Specialist will collaborate with the sales and marketing team to define innovative strategies and processes related to inbound lead generation, funnel maintenance, and assignment.
Job Description:
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate digital marketing project scope, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables for digital and print distribution
- Author and maintain company’s social media campaign(s) and presence with an objective to grow engagement; manage calendar and automation of social media postings
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure completion of all deliverables of email campaigns, webinars, and other online marketing initiatives
- Design and manage all digital marketing campaigns
- Track and report performance (i.e. visits, new followers, comments, share, conversions) as it pertains to individual creative campaigns and participate in benchmark research of the competitive environment
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team to continually define and refine relevant marketing profiles and target customer personas for purposes of personalized email campaigns and lead generation
- Work with the marketing team to develop and implement a search engine optimization strategy for website
- Support webinar program and manage monthly internal and external newsletters
- Work closely with sales to understand how they operate and how digital media can increase leads and convert them into opportunities
- Create and maintain monthly web performance with reports and dashboards utilizing performance metrics
- Assist with editorial/marketing calendar management
- Work with sales staff to optimize the use of Salesforce.com
What You Bring to the Role
Education
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism or otherwise relevant field, or equivalent experience
Knowledge
- 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, contributing to and managing integrated marketing programs
- Strong understanding of effective marketing strategies and channels of opportunity, with experience defining and implementing digital media and email campaigns
- Working knowledge of CRM tools , experience utilizing and integrating marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Experience contributing to and defining marketing strategy within cross-functional teams
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated strength in copywriting, editing and proofreading; ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form
- Ability to self-motivate and operate independently while also contributing within a collaborative and dynamic team environment
- Ability to remain organized and multi-task, managing projects effectively and partnering with stakeholders to reach goals within timeline and budget
- Demonstrated attention to detail, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of graphic design and relevant programs (i.e., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) a plus
Work Environment
We are a hybrid-remote workplace combining in-office and remote work to varying degrees based on role requirements and employee location. This position may involve occasional travel within North America for attendance to trade shows, collaborate with other team members and participate in training and development opportunities.
