Our medical electronics team is involved in development of embedded control software used for various medical devices (e.g. angiography systems).

We are seeking an embedded software engineer who will be part of our international software development team in healthcare domain. If you're eager to apply your skills to cutting-edge medical product development, we have an exciting opportunity for you! 

Your role will be:

  • You develop architectures and designs of embedded control software
  • You estimate the development effort based on the analysis of functional and non-functional SW requirements
  • You create software documentation including test specifications
  • You also control and monitor the generation process
  • You plan and carry out software quality measures such as code reviews
  • Cooperate with hardware engineer to setup test environment and finish the integration test.

As member of our international team, you will have possibilities to:

What do we expect

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science, data technology, information technology, electrical engineering or communications engineering and have several years of relevant professional experience in the development of complex embedded systems
  • You have in-depth knowledge of embedded software and complex control systems and have experience with the programming languages C++ (C++11/14/17) and C as well as knowledge of software modeling with UML 2.0
  • You already have knowledge of bus systems (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, etc.) as well as knowledge of configuration management systems (e.g. Subversion).
  • You have extensive experience with real-time operating systems (e.g. RT Linux), including the development of kernel modules and drivers
  • You are very good in spoken and written English
  • Your profile is rounded off by initiative, creativity, analytical skills, focus on quality, willingness and ability to learn with improvement mindset

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2 400 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
