Position Summary

As the Director of Information Security Cloud Product Security, you will be the driving force behind ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud-based medical device systems. Your role is critical in protecting sensitive patient data and ensuring the reliability and resilience of our cloud infrastructure. In this role you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in protecting patient data and advancing healthcare technology. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Information Security Product Security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and accountability.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud security strategy for our medical device solutions, encompassing infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures and solutions, considering scalability, performance, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments for cloud-based systems, identifying and prioritizing security risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA guidelines) and industry standards, and maintain a robust compliance program.
  • Develop and lead an effective incident response program for cloud security incidents, including coordination with external partners when necessary.
  • Oversee relationships with cloud service providers, evaluating their security measures and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Promote security awareness and best practices throughout the organization, ensuring that employees and stakeholders understand their role in maintaining security.
  • Manage the information security budget, making strategic investments in tools, technologies, and personnel to enhance cloud security.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud security measures, policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Implements repeatable operations that generates regulatory and quality artifacts for quality systems to achieve compliance to all international regulations

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in information security, with a focus on cloud security and medical device security.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security best practices.
  • Experience in securing cloud-based medical device systems is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the healthcare and medical device industry.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.

The estimated base salary range for the Director, InfoSec Cloud Product Security role based in the United States of America is: $197,200 - $295,800. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
