Vice President of Corporate Marketing - Onsite in Mountain View, CA 

Overview:

As the Vice President of Corporate Marketing , you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the overall corporate marketing strategy which aligns with the overall business goals and objectives. You will be responsible for fostering creativity across various departments to elevate brand awareness, optimize brand strategy, and integrate corporate marketing efforts to the business. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creative vision, and leadership skills to drive brand growth and differentiation in the market. This role reports to the CEO

What you will do

Brand Strategy Development:

  • Develop and elevate the company's brand strategy in alignment with its business objectives and market positioning.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish brand goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Creative Direction:

  • Provide creative direction and guidance to internal teams and external agencies in the development of brand assets, including visual identity, messaging, and content.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate innovative ideas and concepts that align with the brand strategy.
  • Ensure consistency and cohesiveness in brand expression across all touchpoints, including advertising, packaging, digital platforms, and events.

Corporate Events:

  • Responsible for spearheading and providing a comprehensive overview of corporate and industry gatherings, user conferences, booth construction and managing participation in trade shows. Additionally, tasked with leading Sales Kickoff (SKO), Presidents Club, and other pivotal corporate events.

Brand Communication:

  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the brand's value proposition and drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop compelling storytelling narratives and content that resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of brand campaigns and initiatives, leveraging data insights to optimize future strategies and tactics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer experience, to ensure alignment and integration of brand initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Act as a brand ambassador internally, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and brand advocacy among employees.

Leadership and Management:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of brand, creative, and corporate event professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities.
  • Oversee the allocation of budgets and planning of resources for brand and creative initiatives, as well as corporate events, ensuring optimal resource utilization and alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • This role requires in-office presence in Mountain View, CA. This role also requires 25-30% travel
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in brand management, marketing, or related roles, with a focus on brand strategy and creative development.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable brand initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Creative vision and a passion for innovation, with a track record of developing and executing successful brand campaigns.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and tools for measuring brand performance and ROI.
  • You must have at least one prior experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment, preferably within the Enterprise software industry.

Compensation Base Range: $250,000-$350,000

Compensation Structure: Base + Bonus + Equity

  • Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans.
