  • High proficiency in at least one object-oriented language (Python is a plus).
  • Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills of the used solution stack.
  • Proficiency in some flavors of SDLC tools and processes.

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in building highly available, high-traffic, distributed services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols.
  • Good understanding of developing customer-facing microservice-based architectures, including virtualization, containerization, and RESTful APIs.
  • Previous experience in utilizing public cloud services from the current major providers (such as Oracle, Azure, AWS, etc.) in developing complex software products.
  • Hands-on experience building and operating internal tools with large data pipelines, including data visualization.
  • Experience in working with other teams and accommodating requirements from those teams.
  • Experience in any scripting language such as Python, Shell, etc.
  • Experience with front-end development using JavaScript and/or modern frameworks, such as React and Angular, is a plus.
  • Experience with UX practices.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.
